Family Ministry
Children and families are a beloved and necessary part of our community. We desire to walk alongside parents as they disciple their kids, and learn alongside the younger generations and glean from their experiences and relationship.
WHY DO WE HAVE A FAMILY MINISTRY?
what to know
We offer a kid-friendly environment for our younger community on Sundays, ages 3-11. Our check-in system is located in the foyer right outside the sanctuary doors. Please check your children in before they are dismissed. Kids will be called up during the gathering to be prayed for and dismissed to their time downstairs. They are welcome to sit at the front with the volunteers, or hang back with their parents until they are dismissed and meet the group in the hallway to walk downstairs together. Kids can be picked up at the end of the gathering in the kid’s room downstairs.
For kids under the age of 3, we have weekly volunteers in the nursery. First, check-in your child at the ipad and then bring them to the nursery beside the main office and sign them in. There are some Sundays where volunteers are unavailable, so be sure to look for a sign that indicates if it is a parent-supervised nursery on Sunday. You may drop your child off before the gathering starts, or during the kids dismissal during the gathering. Nursery children will be released upon sign-out from the parent/guardian who dropped them off unless otherwise arranged.
Our diaper changing station, toddler-friendly bathroom, feeding room, and quiet room are always available for any parents to use. They are all located in the nursery.
We offer a Jr. Youth night on the fourth Thursday of each month from 6:00-8:00 pm at the church for ages 9-14. We play games, have conversations about faith, and enjoy snacks together.
We also host many family-friendly events throughout the year! If you want to subscribe to the Kids and Family email announcements, email Kaitie below for more information!
