One of the resources you might consider to enhance your learning outside of the Sunday AM teaching environment is a recent podcast series called “The Familiar Stranger” by author Tyler Staton. This compliments the book by the same title, which is also an excellent and recommended read. The podcast is available on YouTube or on any audio platform and is well worth a listen.

The idea of this event is that you would watch or listen to some or all of the podcast and then join others for an evening together in a backyard setting to explore some of the topics we are not including in the Sunday teaching times. Things like “what’s up with the gift of prophecy?” or “how do we process disappointment?”. You can bring your questions and find a place to process your experiences with the Holy Spirit and a spot to practice some of the things we are talking about.
