As followers of Jesus, we seek to be good neighbours, listening, learning, and pursuing relationships marked by humility, justice, peace and reconciliation.

Since long before Canada was formed, the Stó:lō (People of the River) have cared for the land on which The Gathering Church building is located. We recognize and honour the contributions that the people of the Semá:th (Sumas) &  Mathxwí (Matsqui) First Nations have made — and continue to make — to our community. We honour their stewardship of this land and their continued contributions to its vibrancy and resilience.
